Janice’s career in nursing began in December 1982, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. An advocate for pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 1993 from the Mississippi University for Women. Since graduating, Janice has completed a number of advanced training courses, and she is an Adult Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified.
Janice is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and is committed to keeping up with the new nursing developments and guidelines. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and she strives to provide the best outcomes possible. Janice has spoken on HIV treatments and has conducted presentations for pharmaceutical companies, and attributes her success to the great mentorship she received, the support of her colleagues, and the support of her sister who is also a nurse.
