Respected Nurse Educator, Dora Kay Thomas, MSN, RN will be Presented in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Dora Kay Thomas, MSN, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Dora Kay Thomas is an established Nurse Educator currently serving as a Professor with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in nurse education, cardiovascular, and medical/surgical nursing.

Dora’s career in nursing began in 1983, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Berea College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2005 from Western Kentucky University. Throughout her career, Dora has completed a number of advanced training courses.

To keep current with the new nursing developments and guidelines, Dora remains a distinguished member of the National League for Nursing and the Kentucky League for Nursing. At Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, Dora helped to start the LPN program and was the first coordinator for the program. She attributes her success to her hard work, as well as the education she received from Berea College. She has always wanted to teach. In her free time, Dora enjoys gardening and reading.
