Dr. Arif is an educator and an academician. He has won multiple teaching awards namely outstanding clinical educator in 2016 by the graduating nephrology fellows, the Golden Apple teaching award in 2017 and the Charles Schwartz – Howard Miller MD teacher of the year award in 2018.
