Antonio Raffaele Scassa is an established Family Nurse Practitioner who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients within Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Featuring over five years of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in emergency room and ICU nursing.
Antonio’s career in nursing began in 2012, when he graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Malone University. An advocate for continuing education, he remained within the same educational venue, earning his Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2017. Antonio has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Antonio keeps current with the latest developments, guidelines, and procedures in nursing by remaining a distinguished member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practices Nurses. He attributes his success to his education and professors, where he learned to treat the patient not just the disease. In his free time, Antonio enjoys football.
