The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome K. Elizabeth MacMillan, MSN-PH, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. K. Elizabeth MacMillan is currently serving as an Adjunct Clinical and Simulation Lab Instructor at Brookline College, and as a Registered Nurse with the Banner Health Systems in Arizona. Featuring over 19 years of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in progressive care, medical/surgical nursing, and outpatient observation.
Elizabeth’s career in nursing began in 1999, when she attended the Maricopa County Community College District, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Driven to further her knowledge, she went on to complete her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification in 2008, followed by her Nursing Degree in 2010 from Glendale Community College. Elizabeth then attended Grand Canyon University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2014 and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing-Public Health in 2017. She holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Arizona, and remains a distinguished member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, the Arizona Nurses Association, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the American and Arizona Public Health Associations. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, and has dedicated her life to providing high quality education and care. In her free time, Elizabeth is undertaking the development of an integrative project that combines her devotion to nursing with her love for music.
