Esteemed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Teresa A. Schultz, APRN, CNP will be Noted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Teresa A. Schultz, APRN, CNP to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Teresa A. Schultz is an established Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minnesota. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in neurosurgery. Teresa provides care for children and adults with pediatric onset neurosurgical issues such as myelomeningocele, hydrocephalus, chiari malformation, craniofacial abnormalities, brachial plexus injury, and trauma.

Teresa’s career in nursing began in 1984, when she graduated from the College of Saint Catherine, St. Paul, Minnesota. An advocate for pursuing advanced education,she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care concentration in 2000 from the University of Minnesota. Since graduating, Teresa has completed a number of advanced training courses, and completed her Pediatric Acute Care Certification in 2007.

To keep current with the new developments, guidelines, and procedures in nursing, Teresa maintains a professional membership with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and continues to strive to provide the best outcomes possible. Moreover, Teresa contributed to 2 chapters in Nursing Care of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Patient (edited by Cathy Cartwright and Donna Wallace, Springer, 2017), Neural Tube Defects and Transition from Pediatric to Adult Care. She attributes her success to her excellent mentors, as well as feeling that nursing chose her. In her free time, Teresa enjoys scuba diving, camping, crocheting, knitting and spending time with family.
