Dr. Tort Saade’s career in medicine began in 1998, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. After medical school, he completed his General Surgery internship and Orthopedic Surgery residency with the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus in San Juan. Driven to further his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Tort Saade then undertook his fellowship training with Rush Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Tort Saade is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and also holds subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine.
To keep current with the new developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field, Dr. Tort Saade remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Association of Orthopedic Surgery, and the Puerto Rican Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results.
