After medical school, Dr. Ballecer completed his internship and residency training with Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Driven to further his knowledge and expertise, he went on to undertake his Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship with the Greenville Health System in South Carolina.

Dr. Ballecer is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ballecer provides expert surgical treatment for a wide array of conditions, and is recognized as a specialist in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. He is one of few surgeons in his area to perform da Vinci robotic procedures.

Dr. Ballecer shares his wealth of knowledge as an Associate Professor with Midwestern University, and he also serves as a consultant for Intuitive Surgical, where he teaches robotics in general surgery to surgeons around the country.
