
The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Steven Simms, RN, MSN, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Steven Simms is an established Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients as Nursing Director within St. John’s Community Services in Washington, DC. He is a highly respected and experienced nurse, having been in practice for over two decades. Steven is noted for his expertise in cardiology and mental health nursing.
Steven attended Passaic County Community College in Paterson, New Jersey, earning his Nursing Degree in 1997. Thereafter, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Trinity University in Washington, D.C., followed by his Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Since graduating, Steven has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is also endorsed to practice advanced nursing in mental health.
Steven keeps current with the new nursing developments, guidelines, and procedures by maintaining a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association. He has dedicated his life to delivering high quality care to his patients, and has been named Nurse of the Year by Washington Hospital consecutively from 2003 to 2009. In his free time, Steven likes to relax with sports, reading, and playing video games.
