Dr. Reier’s career in medicine began in 1992, when she graduated with her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Thereafter, she completed her internship and residency training at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Driven to further her knowledge and enhance her expertise, Dr. Reier went on to undertake her Hematology and Oncology fellowship with the University of California, Los Angeles. She is board certified in the subspecialty of Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
To stay current with the newest developments, guidelines, and procedures in her field, Dr. Reier remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Alameda-Contra Costa County Medical Association. She is passionate about enhancing her patients’ quality of life, and has been honored with the Best Doctor Award for three consecutive years in 2010, 2011 and 2012. When she is not assisting her patients, Dr. Reier spends her time traveling.
