Erika attended San Diego State University, graduating with her Bachelor of Social Work Degree in 2009. An advocate for pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Master of Social Work Degree in 2016 from the University of South California. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses to stay current in her field.
Erika is a distinguished member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Latino Social Workers Organization, and the Clinical Social Work Caucus. She has dedicated her life to providing and compassionate quality mental health care, and attributes her success to her wonderful mentors, the support of her family and friends, and her motivation to empower those in need. In her free time, Erika enjoys hiking and yoga.
