The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Charlotte C. Cabello, PhD, RN, NE-BC to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Charlotte C. Cabello is an established Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Featuring over four decades of experience in nursing, she has extensive expertise as a nurse administrator, patient care manager, and clinical nurse manager.
Charlotte’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1978, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Columbia University. She went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Hunter College, before returning to Columbia University to complete her PhD. Since graduating, Charlotte has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is also a Nurse Executive-Board Certified.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Charlotte has dedicated her life to providing high quality care. In her role, she manages staffing for 14 units on a shift basis, responds to cardiac arrests and rapid responses, supervises 35 float staff, both RNs and nursing attendants, and coordinates educational in-services for float NA staff. Charlotte attributes her success to her mentors, as well as saying “yes you can” to challenging roles. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
