Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Mirfendereski undertook his Internal Medicine residency, serving as Chief Resident at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York. Thereafter, he completed his Nephrology fellowship at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Mirfendereski is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. To stay current with the latest advances and developments in his field, he remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Mirfendereski has dedicated his life to providing quality care to his patients, and believes that continuous patient education not only improves outcomes, but also helps to reduce the anxiety that results from living with a chronic disease.
