Dr. Joseph Mignone is an established Medical Oncologist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients as the Medical Director of 21st Century Oncology in Jacksonville, Florida. He also serves on the cancer committee for the University of Florida and Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Department of Medical Quality Review and Clinical Professional Review Committee, and as Clinical Practice Vice Chair of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Mignone attended Wagner College in Staten Island, graduating Cum Laude in 1993. Pursuing a career in medicine, he went on to earn his Medical Degree in 1997 from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Upon returning to the United States, he completed an Internal Medicine residency and then Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville.
Dr. Mignone is board certified in Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, and Medical Oncology, and has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality care to his patients. He remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Duval County Medical Society, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society for Integrative Oncology, and is also a board member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Regarded as a specialist in medical oncology, internal medicine, hematology, palliative care medicine, and integrative oncology, Dr. Mignone attributes his success to the relationship he builds with his patients. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and playing tennis.
