Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in all facets of her work.
Dr. Hierholzer’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1981, when she graduated from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine. Upon earning her Medical Degree, she completed her internship and residency training with Truman Medical Center – West and Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill. Moreover, she holds a Master of Business Administration Degree, and is Former Diplomat of the esteemed American Board of Emergency Medicine. She has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
To stay current in her field, Dr. Hierholzer remains a distinguished member of the Kansas City Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, the American Medical Association,
the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Kansas and Missouri Chapters, as well as the Forensic Section and a lifetime member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. COVERSA’s (Collection of Victim Evidence Regarding Sexual Assault) mission is to provide victims of sexual violence with immediate, compassionate and competent forensic medical services.
