
The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Sheri E. Hiser, RN, BSN, MA to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Sheri E. Hiser is an established Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. Featuring two decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in infection prevention and trauma care.
Sheri’s career in nursing began in 1998, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University. Pursuing advanced education, she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Military Operations and War Leadership at Air University, and she is currently studying for her Master of Business Administration Degree at Colorado Technical University. Since graduating, Sheri has completed a number of advanced training courses. She holds certification in the Balloon Pump Technique, is a Certified Victim Advocate, Certified in ER and Trauma, FEMA Certified, and is Certified in Biological Management.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Sheri remains a distinguished member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. She is retired from the United States Air Force, after serving for 24 years, and was named Nurse of the Month in Iraq. Sheri has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality care to her patients, and attributes her success to her father who instilled in her her morals, values, and strength.
