Walsh is an established Registered Nurse currently open to networking and job opportunities in Illinois. Featuring over two decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in hospice care, and is also a transformational nurse leader with accomplishments in nursing management, change management, project management, and inpatient and outpatient leadership.
Cynthia’s career in nursing began in 1991, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. Pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership with Healthcare Concentration in 2005 from St. Catherine’s University. Presently, Cynthia is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Rush University with a projected graduation this year. She also holds ANCC certification of NEA-BC Advanced Nurse Executive – Board Certified.
To stay current with the latest advances in nursing, Cynthia remains a distinguished member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the American Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing. She has dedicated her life to providing high quality care to her patients, and attributes her success to caring about people, mentoring new nurses, and the encouragement she gets from overcoming challenges. In her free time, Cynthia enjoys traveling, photography, gardening, and knitting.
