If you are looking for free things to do in Tampa on Sunday, April 15, 2018, the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) is serving up free food and family fun from nearly 100 vendors to include Tampa area restaurants at the CABA Presents Taste of Carrollwood at George M. Steinbrenner Field, home of the Tampa Tarpons.
CABA President Diane Stoddart, LTC Financial Solutions said, “This year marks our second Taste of Carrollwood event at George M. Steinbrenner Field, where we estimated nearly 5000 attendees joined us in 2017.”
At the free Tampa food tasting, there will be fun activities for the whole family including an opportunity for kids to run the bases where the Tampa Tarpons play at the newly renovated George M. Steinbrenner Field. Entertainment will be provided by local talent to include the University of South Florida marching band.
“In addition to free food samples and lots of giveaways from nearly 100 vendors, the Taste of Carrollwood is a free, family-fun event that encourages residents to shop local, buy local, and eat local from many of Tampa’s finest restaurants,” said Dena Thompson-Estes, CABA’s Director of Special Events.
At the free Tampa food tasting, there will be fun activities for the whole family including a scavenger hunt, where completed entries give attendees the chance to win a free 40’ Flat Screen TV. Kids will enjoy in-crowd entertainers, musical performers, and a special “Kids Corner.”
No tickets are required. Admission and parking are free.
For over 30 years, CABA has provided area businesses with a voice and community to help ensure their growth. With over 400 members, the tampa networking organization represents a large variety of businesses in the Greater Carrollwood area.
