Dr. Clarkson’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1990, when she graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Upon earning her Medical Degree, she completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California.
Dr. Clarkson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and attributes her success to listening well to her patients, dedicating her time to them, her holistic approach, and having a sense of humor. When she is not working, Dr. Clarkson enjoys spending time with her family, reading, listening to music and swimming.
