Karen J. Doblin is an established Pain Management Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within Westchester Neurology Consultants in Yonkers, New York. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in pain management and neurology. Karen has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients.
Karen’s career in nursing began in 1978, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Adelphi University. Pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Pace University, followed by her PhD with a special interest in neuromodulation techniques from Northwestern University. Karen is also certified as a nurse practitioner and clinical specialist, and is a certified critical care nurse.
To stay current in her field, Karen remains a distinguished member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, and has published on the topics of Intrathecal Pain Pumps and Spinal Cord Stimulation, as well as presented posters and research results on related studies. Karen attributes her success to her dedication to her patients and the mentoring she received from other experts in her field, and in her free time she enjoys swimming, drawing, and embroidery.
