Mullins is an established Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within the American Medical Group Association in Carlsbad, New Mexico, and she is also affiliated with Lee Regional Medical Center and Carlsbad Medical Center. Featuring over 15 years of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in diabetes care and education.
Crystal’s career in nursing began in 2002, when she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from New Mexico State University. Pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Eastern New Mexico University, followed by her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2008 frp, West Texas A&M University. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is additional certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also a Trauma Nursing Core Course Provider.
Crystal has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients. With a passion for her field and commitment to enhancing her patients’ quality of life, she engages in local public speaking on diabetes. Crystal attributes her success to God, her parents, her husband, and children. She feels her mother is her inspiration, and strives to make a difference with her love of nursing and teaching. When she is not working, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and friends, weightlifting, soccer, and attending church.
