Malay is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Featuring nearly two decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in medical/surgical and oncology nursing.
Laura’s career in nursing began in 1999, when she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from Cape Fear Community College. Pursuing further education, she remained within the same education venue, obtaining her Nursing Degree in 2001. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses and holds certification as a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Laura remains a distinguished member of the Oncology Nursing Society. She has dedicated her life to providing quality care to her patients, and attributes her success to the support of her husband, colleagues on her floor at the hospital, and her parents, who raised her to be compassionate and help others. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.
