Olesh Babiak, MD, esteemed Anesthesiologist with the Associates in Anesthesia Inc. has been named a 2018 Top Doctor in Upland, Pennsylvania. Dr. Olesh Babiak is a highly respected and experienced physician, having been in practice for over three decades. His pursuit of a medical career began in 1986, when he graduated from Philadelphia’s Hahnemann University. Upon earning his Medical Degree, Dr. Babiak would go on to complete both an internship and residency in Anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, before joining the medical staff at the Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland.
Dr. Babiak is board certified in Anesthesiology, and has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients. He is noted for his expertise in neurosurgical anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and routinely staffs the robotic and neurosurgical operating rooms at CCMC. There, his proficiency in advanced airway management skills are utilized daily as well as his ability to manage patients with perioperative pain management challenges. In 1998, Dr. Babiak was appointed Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine, and he continues to serve in that capacity. He has served on and chaired numerous staff committees and is the Past President of the CCMC Medical Staff.
Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Babiak worked as a pharmacist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and as a Faculty Member of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences. He remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists, and has previously served as an alternate delegate to these associations.
He is noted for his commitment to enhancing his patients’ quality of life, and it is this patient centric focus, paired with his contributions to his field, that makes Dr. Olesh Babiak, MD a very worthy winner of a 2018 Top Doctor Award.
