Marion Hedges is an established Social Worker currently serving patients within DaVita Oxnard Dialysis Center in Oxnard, California. Featuring over a decade of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in Dialysis Social Work.
Marion received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the State University of New York at Buffalo and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2005. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses. Marion is currently in her testing phase to receive her LCSW.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Marion remains a distinguished member of the Council of Nephrology Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers. She attributes her success to wanting to make the world a better place in which to live. As a Social Worker, Marion sees this as her job; helping people adjust to and overcome obstacles; validating their feelings; advocating for adequate healthcare or the right to pass with dignity. Marion believes the potential to make a difference is her driving force.
When she is not working, Marion enjoys traveling, reading, cross stitch and spending time with family.
