Mahoney is an established Registered Nurse until recently serving patients within Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in medical/surgical, telemetry, and home health nursing.
Mary’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1970, when she graduated with a diploma in Practical Nursing from the Shapero School of Nursing in Detroit. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1992 from the University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating, Mary has completed a number of advanced training courses and remains committed to staying current with the latest advances in her field. Recently, Mary has completed her Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education. She has accepted a part-time clinical instructor position at Miami University Hamilton in Ohio.
Mary has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care. She is committed to enhancing the quality of life of her patients, and attributes her success to her patients, precepting, and mentors. When she is not working, Mary enjoys relaxing with needlework and reading, and also enjoys traveling.
