Virginia Cozad is an established Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant currently working independently near Valentine, Nebraska. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in all facets of her work.
Virginia attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1973. An advocate for continuing education, she earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Practice Nurse concentration in 1997 from South Dakota State University in Brookings. Since graduating, Virginia has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Certified Diabetes Educator, and is also a Certified Life Care Planner.
To stay current with the latest advances and developments in her field, Virginia remains a distinguished member of the American Nurses Association. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and attributes her success to truly loving what she does for a living. When she is not working, Virginia enjoys reading and camping.
