Rachael D. Olson is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as a Charge Nurse within the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee and she is also affiliated with the Mountain Home Veterans Administration Healthcare System. Featuring over two decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in medical/surgical and oncology nursing.
Rachael’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1994, when she graduated with her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2005 from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Carolina. Since graduating, Rachael has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is also a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
To stay current with the latest advances and developments in her field, Rachael remains a distinguished member of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses. She serves as the Charge Nurse on a medical/surgical/oncology floor helping to improve the health and well-being of the veterans in her region, and has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care. Rachael attributes her success to her perseverance and strong work ethic, and to the support of her family, coworkers, and management. When she is not working, she enjoys reading and crocheting.
