The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Linda Harrison Zoeller, PhD, RN, FNP to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Linda Harrison Zoeller is an established Nurse currently maintaining a position with Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Featuring over four decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in public health, primary care, nursing practice, advanced practice, teaching, curriculum development, and evaluation. Linda spent 10 years in educational nursing administration as a Director, which included the stewardship of state and federal funds as well as endowment funds for nursing education.
Linda’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1971, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan, and earner her Master of Public Health Degree. An advocate for continuing education, Linda obtained her Post-Master’s Certificate in Primary Care Nursing in 1980 from the University of Colorado at Denver, followed by her PhD in Health Policy Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1996.
Linda has been active in several professional organizations throughout her career including the American Nurses Association. American Public Health Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, the Midwest Nursing Research Society, the American Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. For her excellence, she is the recipient of awards and recognitions and has been published extensively. Linda serves on a health policy committee for the Michigan Public Health Association, has been involved in several successful accreditation self-studies, and now serves as a CCNE accreditation site reviewer. She is now serving as a consultant in educational accreditation and nursing curriculum. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of care to her patients and education to her students., Linda enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, travel and reading.
