Mathew C. Armstrong is an established Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within the Mercy STATCARE Centers in Ohio, and he is also affiliated with Union Hospital. Featuring over a decade of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in occupational medicine.
Mathew’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 2008, when he graduated with his Nursing Degree from Kent State University. An advocate for continuing education, he went on to earn his Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2016 from Walden University. Since graduating, Mathew has completed a number of advanced training courses and remains committed to staying current with the latest advances in his field. He is also Workers Compensation Certified.
Mathew has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients. He serves as a Clinical Instructor at Kent State University, and is the recipient of a Barbara Donaho Leadership Award. Mathew is passionate about engaging in volunteer work, and when he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, traveling, and being outdoors.
