The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Julie R. Jeffrey, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Julie R. Jeffrey is an established Registered Nurse and Correctional Nurse working for Corizon Correctional Healthcare in San Tan Valley, Arizona. With more than 13 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist correctional nurse and emergency room nurse.
Julie first entered the world of nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2004. In 2010 she gained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona, becoming a Registered Nurse, and she is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Western Governors University. Julie is a certified Emergency Medicine Technician, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Julie has experience in many areas of nursing, including school nursing and ICU nursing, and alongside her work as a correctional nurse she is also affiliated with Florence Hospital at Anthem. She is an distinguished member of the American Nurses Association, and attributes her success to her desire, integrity and perseverance. When she is not working, Julie enjoys crocheting, camping and spending quality time with her family.
