Thuy Tran Neering is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Richmond Community Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, and she is affiliated with Bon Secours Health Systems. She has also been affiliated with Johnston-Willis and Chippenham Hospital. Featuring over nine years of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in oncology, infusion, geriatrics, critical care, trauma, and medical/surgical nursing.
Thuy’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 2009, when she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Erie Community College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2017 from Western Governors University, where she is also currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education. Since graduating, Thuy has completed a number of advanced training courses and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also an Oncology Certified Nurse, Geriatric Resource Nurse and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certified.
To stay current with the latest advances in nursing, Thuy remains a distinguished member of the American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Oncology Nursing Society. She has dedicated her life to providing quality care and services to her patients, and she is also a Preceptor and Mentor for oncology, medical/surgical, surgical services, and critical care. She attributes her success to her passion for people and helping others, as well as her thirst for knowledge, and in her free time, Thuy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, wine tasting, and traveling.
