Dr. Kumar is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Dr. Kumar remains a distinguished member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons and the Richmond Academy of Medicine. For her wealth of experience, she has been named America’s Top OBGYN since 2004, was a pioneer in healthcare reform in 2004, and was nominated for the US Surgeon General position in 2006. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality care to her patients, and attributes her success to being very passionate about patient care, as well as being consistent with positive outcomes. In her free time, Dr. Kumar enjoys music and spending time by the water.
