Dr. Homa is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care, and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatrics. Furthermore, he has earned the coveted title of Diplomate of the American Board of Post-Acute and Long Term Care.
Dr. Homa is also a post acute and long term care specialist at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Rosewood of Inverness, Manor Care of Arlington Heights, Church Creek in Arlington Heights. He is also available to see post acute patients at Transitional Care in Arlington Heights. He is dedicated to giving personal attention to each of his patients, and working hard to coordinate care with their other medical team members, any specialist, or surgeon. Communication, listening, and diagnostic expertise are Dr. Homa’s specialty and passion. He maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association, the Chicago Medical Society, the American Medical Director’s Association and the American Board of Post Acute Long Term Care Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Homa is an expert witness for medical malpractice cases in defense of medical doctors and long term care facilities, as well as injured patients filing as plaintiffs. Dr. Homa attributes his success to his hard work, dedication, and caring for his patients.
Dr Homa’s latest endeavor is the development of a patient focused model of care. He schedules his office patients to afford no waiting and a full thirty minute appointment.
