Esteemed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Ezekiel J. Sanchez, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC will be Honorably Mentioned in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Ezekiel J. Sanchez, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Ezekiel J. Sanchez is an established Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients in the Substance Use Disorders Clinic at the El Paso VA Health Care System in Texas. Featuring over 16 years of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in psychiatric and mental health care.

Ezekiel’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 2001, when he graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. Thereafter, he served as an Active Duty Nurse in the Navy Nurse Corps, assigned to the medical/surgical and inpatient psychiatry units at Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, IL, and at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. He also deployed as a mental health nurse to Joint Task Force Guantanamo as a mental health asset providing psychiatric care to detainees. An advocate for continuing education, Ezekiel earned his Master of Science Degree in Nursing with Honors in 2011 from New Mexico State University. He has served as a volunteer guest speaker and lecturer for the El Paso Community College School of Nursing, and also for the Mano y Corazon Institute of Integrative Health Education annual Hepatitis C conference at the Texas Tech School of Medicine.

An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Ezekiel remains a distinguished member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Neuroscience Education Institute. He has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients, and attributes his success to his time as a Navy Nurse helping to define the area of nursing he wanted to settle into. When he is not working, Ezekiel enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
