Esteemed Registered Nurse, Mary Ann Joy, RN, BSN will be Highlighted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Mary Ann Joy, RN, BSN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Mary Ann Joy is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within the Florida Cardiovascular Institute in Tampa, Florida, and she is also affiliated with Tampa General Hospital. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in cardiology, coronary care, telemetry, post open heart surgery, cath lab, and ICU nursing.

Mary’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1983, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in South Bend, Indiana. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Arizona in 2003. Since graduating, Mary has completed a number of advanced training courses and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and she was formerly a Certified Critical Care Nurse.

Mary has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients. She previously precepted in the Cath Lab and C.C.U, and is the recipient of a Nurse of the Year Award three times over from Tampa General Hospital. Mary attributes her success to her love for her job, her love for people, and her love for nursing, feeling that it has been a perfect fit for her. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, growing orchids and roses, and working with veterans, in particular Vietnam War Veterans.
