The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Deborah M. Boesch-OToole,BSN, CNOR to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Deborah M. Boesch-OToole is an established Certified Operating Room Nurse currently serving as Perioperative Manager teaching Perioperative 101 within Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, New York. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in medical/surgical nursing, home health care, and operating room nursing.
Deborah’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1975, when she graduated with her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from Eastern BOCES Mid Suffolk School of Practical Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she attended Suffolk County Community College, becoming a Registered Nurse in 1987. Since graduating, Deborah has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and certification in Administration for Surgery Centers.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Deborah is committed to staying current with the latest advances and developments in nursing which she does through her professional membership with the Association of Operating Room Nurses and as a recent graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing obtaining her Bachelor Science of Nursing. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and attributes her success to her exceptional preceptors and mentors, as well as her fellow nurses. When she is not working, Deborah enjoys traveling and caring for her 9 grandchildren; as well as helping influence young women as future leaders in Organization of Triangles, Inc. where she held a state officer position for the last 25 years.
