Karen Pompey is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as Program Director of Nursing Quality, Magnet Director and Nursing Support Services at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Saudi Arabia. Featuring over 31 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist nurse coordinator and administrator.
Karen’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1984 when she graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois, from whom she later gained a Master of Science Degree in Nursing. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training course.
Karen has worked in many fields of nursing, occupying increasingly senior positions. She stays current with the latest advances in nursing by remaining an active member of many professional organizations including the American Nurses Association, the Oncology Nursing Society, the Infusion Nurses Society, and the Oregon Nurses Association. Karen attributes her success to her passion for educating nurses for the next generation.
