The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Enid D. Haught, MSN, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Enid D. Haught is an established Registered Nurse currently serving as Coordinator of Professional Nursing Concepts 1 within Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in education and critical care nursing. In her role, Enid coordinates the first semester of nursing for an ADN program, teaching online, traditional, evening/weekend classes, lab, simulations and clinical. She is also the chairperson for the nursing simulation/laboratory committee and curriculum committee.
Enid’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1977 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from West Texas A&M University in Canyon. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Critical Care Nursing in 1990 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses.
Enid has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality care to her patients and education to her students. She remains committed to staying current with the latest advances in her field, and is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including a Teaching Excellence Award in 2014 from Rose State College. Enid attributes her success to the fact that she wants to help her clients become better. It is this commitment that has led Enid to fulfilling her Master’s Degree and become a better educator. When she is working, Enid likes to relax by crocheting and reading.
