The Carrollwood Area Business Association, CABA, was pleased to host a CABA After 5 networking with Pegasos Public Relations at Marlow’s Tavern on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  As well, the event featured the kick-off to CABA’s 2018 Membership Campaign, where over 30 guests and more than 100 CABA members networked on the spacious outdoor patio at Marlow’s.

Managing Director of Pegasos Public Relations, Kelly Stuart Williams, said that among CABA’s 400+ members, Marlow’s is a favorite meeting place, and it was the perfect atmosphere to kick-off CABA’s Membership Campaign.

“On an evening when Tampa was experiencing record cold temperatures, the Marlow’s atmosphere was as warm as the networking of 150 attendees meeting and greeting each other over lite bites, libations, and live music from Triple Play,” said Williams.

Marlow’s General Manager Danny Davis and Head Chef Steve Cohn shared that Marlow’s Tavern in Carrollwood is a CABA success story. “We see CABA members in Marlow’s every day; they are the first to support us with special events like anniversaries and holidays, and they embraced us since the first day we opened in Carrollwood in 2015.”

Known for its annual Taste of Carrollwood and CABA Golf Classic, CABA’s free to members, weekly events are just one of many member benefits that bring the area’s businesses together.

CABA President Diane Stoddart, LTC Solutions, said, “In addition to our weekly networking events, CABA members receive online business profiles, weekly e-blasts, and news releases when they join or renew their annual membership with CABA.”

For over 30 years, CABA has provided area businesses with a voice and community to help ensure their growth. With over 400 members, the organization represents a large variety of businesses in the Greater Carrollwood area.

The CABA After 5 will be followed by next week’s CABA Coffee networking at Hillel Academy, as morning and afternoons alternate weekly.  CABA events are free and listed on the CABA calendar.
