Gail Ann Silverman is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as Director of Clinical Quality within Anthem Inc. in Woodland Hills, California. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in cardiovascular, disaster, and occupational health nursing, as well as insurance.
Gail’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1976, when she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing and her Nursing Certification from Los Angeles Valley College in California. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses, is a Staff Developer for the State of California, and is certified in Chemo Diameter Monitoring. Gail is the recipient of the Tiffany Award from the American Red Cross, and speaks internationally providing disaster training.
Gail has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of compassionate and quality care to her patients. To stay current with the latest advances in nursing, she remains a distinguished member of the American Heart Association and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She attributes her success to challenging herself, the opportunities given by others, and the excellent mentors she has had along the way. In her free time, Gail enjoys volunteering, reading, cooking, going to the theatre, and spending time with her dog.
