The Carrollwood Area Business Association, CABA, celebrated its annual Holiday Tree Lighting with the Northdale Civic Association at Northdale Park on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. In addition to Santa Claus and Mrs. Kringle, community members enjoyed celebrating with Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer along with an expo of local businesses and vendors who sponsored CABA’s Holiday Tree Lighting.
From among its membership of 400+ businesses, sponsors from the Carrollwood networking organization provided festive holiday signs and custom decorated ornaments. Celebration goers brought unwrapped gifts to put under the tree for at-risk children in the Greater Tampa Bay community.
A member of CABA’s Gavel Club and two-time CABA President Rob Cunningham, ADT Security, was the Annual Holiday Tree and Lighting Sponsor.
CABA’s Director of Community Relations, Jennifer Jenkins, said, “It has been a delight working with Bill Castens, Director of the Northdale Civic Association, and his members. We look forward to working with them in the Spring with the Northdale Family Fun Fest in Northdale Park.”
Known for its annual Taste of Carrollwood and CABA Golf Classic, CABA’s community events are just one of many member benefits that bring the Tampa networking organization together with the local community.
“Our theme this year is Community and Business Aligned,” said CABA President Diane Stoddart who added, “The Holiday Tree Lighting is a great example of our theme and our mission to work in collaboration with our members and our partners for the benefit of the community.”
CABA is a volunteer-run, event-driven networking organization that hosts weekly networking events at member locations to help CABA members promote their businesses.
For over 30 years, CABA has provided area businesses with a voice and community to help ensure their growth. CABA events are listed on the CABA calendar.
