The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Eugenia M. Brandenburg, BSN, RN, CCRN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Eugenia M. Brandenburg is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as Renal and Pancreas Transplant Coordinator within Sentara Health Systems in Norfolk, Virginia. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she is a specialist renal and transplant nurse, ICU nurse and kidney coordinator.
Eugenia completed her initial nursing training in 1979, and in 1990 she graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Tidewater Community College, becoming a Registered Nurse. An advocate for continuing education, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing degree from Jacksonville University, and is also Clinical Transplant Certified.
Eugenia has become renowned for her expertise in the field of renal care and kidney and pancreatic transplants, and in 2006 she was awarded a Nursing Excellence Award. She is a Coach and Chairperson for Magnet, and remains a distinguished member of the Virginia Nurses Association and the International Transplant Nurses Society. Eugenia attributes her success to the great mentors that she’s had, and when she is not assisting patients, she enjoys reading and photography.
