Reputable Drug, Alcohol and Psychiatric Nurse, Onnie V. Singman, RN, will be Highlighted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Onnie V. Singman, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Onnie V. Singman, is an established Drug, Alcohol and Psychiatric Nurse. Now retired, Onnie served veteran war patients within the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Featuring over 25 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist psychiatric and addictions nurse.

Onnie’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1992 when she graduated with her Associates of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas becoming a Registered Nurse. Since graduating, she took required classes to pursue a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and completed a number of advanced training courses in psychiatric nursing, to stay current with the latest advances and developments in her field. She was also a distinguished member of the Nevada Nurses Association.

Onnie has a wealth of experience in helping patients overcome drug and alcohol dependency, including working with Vietnam veterans. She was named Nurse of the Year at the VA Hospital in 1998 and has  lectured on behalf of the Air Force on the effects of severe depression. She attributes her success to her love of helping people, and her own experience in therapy. When she is not working Onnie likes to travel across America and Europe.
