Dr. Ancona was educated at the University of Bonn Faculty of Medicine in Germany, where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1975. After relocating to the United States, he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Ancona is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients. He remains a distinguished member of the Suffolk Pediatric Society, the Suffolk County Medical Society, and the Suffolk Academy of Medicine. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ancona serves as an Adjunct Professor at Touro College and Hofstra University, and when he is not assisting his patients, he enjoys skiing and boating.
