Noteworthy Nurse Educator, Debbie M. Barrett-Bryson, MSN/Ed, MHA, BSN, RNC-FM, CCE, CCM, will be Featured in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Debbie M. Barrett-Bryson, MSN/Ed, MHA, BSN, RNC-FM, CCE, CCM, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in theWorldwide Leaders In Healthcare. Debbie M. Barrett-Bryson is a Professor of Nursing and Nurse Educator at the University of Phoenix in Arizona. Featuring over three decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist nurse manager, community health nurse, obstetrics nurse, and medical/surgical nurse. In her role as Professor of Nursing, Debbie is a teaches physical assessment, medical/surgical, obstetrics and community nursing.  She also is a clinical instructor for obstetrics, medical/surgical and community nursing.

Debbie’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1985, when she graduated from The Ohio State University with her Degree in Arts and Science.  She continued her education with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Central Ohio Technical College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Franklin University, followed by her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Health Administration. She holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Inpatient Obstetrics and CPR, and is also a Certified Case Manager,  and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.

Debbie has vast experience in many fields of nursing, and remains a distinguished member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Vice-President in Chapter 30 of the Arizona ANA, The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the Arizona Nurses Association (AWHONN), the National Education Committee, and the National League for Nursing (NLN). She has won many awards throughout her career, including the 2015 Arizona March of Dimes Educator of the Year Award, and attributes her success to her education which instilled in her the importance of being the best you can possibly be. When she is not working, Debbie enjoys traveling.
