Mouied M. Dr. Mouied M. Alashari is a highly experienced and respected pathologist who has been in practice for more than three decades. His acclaimed career in medicine began in 1981 when he graduated from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in Iraq. After moving to the United States, Dr. Alashari completed residencies at the Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, and Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. Pursuing advanced medical training, he undertook his fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Alashari is dual board certified by the American Board of Pathology, in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and in Pediatric Pathology. He has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his young patients, and is renowned across Utah and beyond as a leading expert in pathology relating to infants, children and adolescents.

Alongside his practice, Dr. Alashari also serves as an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He remains a distinguished member of many professional organizations including the Society for Pediatric Pathology, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the College of American Pathologists.
