Dr. Allan Sussman Mohl has been in practice for more than five decades and is currently serving patients within his own private practice located in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He also volunteers as a caregiver at White Plains Hospital.
Dr. Mohl graduated with his Master of Arts Degree in Sociology and then a Master of Social Work Degree in 1960 from New York University, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Pursuing advanced education, he went on to gain his PhD from Columbia Pacific University in San Rafael, California, and is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work.
Dr. Mohl remains a distinguished member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the American Psychological Association, the International Pediatric Hypertension Association, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. In recognition of his expertise, he has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, and attributes his success to his natural compassion and ability as a patient advocate. In his free time, Dr. Mohl enjoys playing the piano and writing poetry, and he is also an avid fan of the New York Jets.
