Dr. Byrd is a member of the International Professional Speakers Association and is a professional speaker and consultant. He lectured in the United States and Calgary, Canada for almost four years for Kodak Dental Systems. Starting in 2003, Dr. Byrd was on the short list of Dentist that are professional speakers, published, and authored. He has authored two books. The first book was, “Total Leadership for Men and Women”. His second book,“The Diamond From Within” became an Amazon.com best seller.
Dr. Byrd provides a wide range of general and cosmetic dental services to his patients of all ages, but he is especially known for mentoring dental students and for his endowment/scholarship to Meharry School of Dentistry. To stay current with the latest advances in his field, he remains a distinguished member of the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Byrd attributes his success to the excellent tutors he had in dental school.
