Dr. Liu’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 2009, when he graduated Cum Laude with his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Following the completion of medical school, he completed his Ophthalmology residency at Brown University in Rhode Island, serving as Chief Resident. Thereafter, he undertook his Surgical Vitreoretinal fellowship at The Retina Institute in Missouri, one of the premier fellowship programs in the country.
Dr. Liu is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of care to his patients. He has been involved in many clinical trials, and has been published extensively on innovative surgical techniques. To stay current with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Liu remains a distinguished member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, and he is also an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. When he is not assisting patents, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with his family, running, traveling, and being outdoors.
