Dr. Hernan Rincon-Choles is an established Nephrologist currently serving patients in the intensive care units within the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio, in the renal clinic at the Cleveland Clinic Family Health Care Center in East Cleveland, Ohio, and at the Ohio Renal Care Group Huron Dialysis Center in East Cleveland, Ohio where he is also the Medical Director, and he is also affiliated with South Pointe Hospital. Featuring over two decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in nephrology and hypertension.
Dr. Rincon-Choles’ acclaimed career in medicine began in 1989, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Cartagena in Cartagena, Columbia. After moving to the United States, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center Campus of New York Medical College in New York. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Rincon-Choles went on to undertake his nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Investigation.
Dr. Rincon-Choles is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. To stay current with the latest advances and developments in his field, he remains a distinguished member of the Ohio State Medical Association. Dr. Rincon-Choles attributes his success to his dedication and education, as well as his passion for patient care and helping them get better. In his free time, he is a music lover, and enjoys keeping fit and visiting the gym.
